One of the strengths of our business has been acting on behalf of private individuals in respect of all aspects of property investment and management. Clients range from high-net-worth individuals to family trusts and charities, and we offer a fully managed service dealing with all aspects of various clients' needs.
Our service includes a named director as the point of contact, and we have built long-standing relationships with particular clients and their various advisers in order to provide a trouble-free management service for property portfolios. We act on behalf of clients in the acquisition of properties including acquiring investments by private treaty, auction or off-market transactions and then look after the properties and deal with all tenant enquiries on behalf of clients. We are able to report to clients on a quarterly (or more frequent) basis, remitting rental income directly to clients with supporting documentation by post or email. We also liaise with financial advisers such as accountants or offshore trust companies.
Property investment in recent years has seen a significant return on capital, compared with cash or other forms of investment, and whilst owning property as an investment means hands-on management is required, this is a service we offer to clients as part of clients' wider investment portfolios, and property as an investment provides an attractive asset class in a balanced portfolio.
We are also able to act on behalf of clients in situations where a portfolio needs expanding or reducing, including disposal of investment properties and advice on asset management and active management where situations such as refurbishment or redevelopment of a property will provide additional income opportunities.
We have recently acted on behalf of former business owners who, having sold their businesses, are seeking to reinvest capital in a range of investments including property; here, we have arranged to purchase a balance of investment properties and subsequently manage these on behalf of the client.
