New Trade Counter Development opens

A new-build trade counter pre-let to Crown Paints at Phoenix Court, Barrow-in-Furness is now open and trading.
The development was completed from start to finish by Peill & Co’s building consultancy department, arranging for the planning consent for extension to the existing trade park, of project management of the construction works and hand-over to Crown Paints for fit-out. Peill & Co’s agency department agreed the pre-let to Crown Paints which is on the terms of a new 10-year lease with rent review at year 5. Other occupiers at Phoenix Court trade park include Toolstation and Screw Fix, and the development is situated on the Furness Business Park with other occupiers including Andersons, Peugeot, Furness College, Liberata and Cumbria Constabulary Regional Headquarters.
The letting follows other recent lettings on Furness Business Park and Simon Adams of Peill & Co commented ‘we were pleased to be able to secure Crown Paints on a new 10-year lease without a break clause, which reinforces the strength of the occupier market more particularly for trade counter opportunities. In addition to letting other units at Furness Business Park, we are also in the process of advising on some further new developments in the town and further details are available from us.’
